EDGE: Earn a Degree, Graduate Early targets first-generation college students, those who come from families who have had no experience with college or expectation that their children will attend a university. The application process starts at the eighth grade level. Learn more about EDGE.
Fine Arts
Union Public Schools has one of the truly outstanding fine arts programs in the nation. A talented and dedicated staff, strong parental and community support, as well as the support of the administration and school board, have provided our students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore and develop their talents.
Safety + Security
A safe and secure school environment is essential to the learning process. An important ingredient in achieving safe and secure schools remains alert eyes and ears. Safety is achieved when an atmosphere exists in which students are comfortable talking with adults about their concerns.
Accreditation
The 8th Grade Center is accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Its accreditation process, involving parents, teachers and administrators at each site, is considered a model for other school districts.
Modern Library
Our state-of-the-art media center acts as the origin for literacy and learning as students embark upon their high school journey.

The last day of school for Union Public Schools will be Friday, May 23.
The Union Board of Education approved the change along with other schedule changes – including using three built-in snow days and adding 16 additional minutes to the school day beginning March 24 – in order to make up lost instruction due to the six days students missed school due to inclement winter weather.

Union High School hosted its Track and Field Invitational for area high schools today as student ahtletes competed in events from pole vault to shot put and running events.

Spring Break is March 17-21! School will be closed all week. Union offices will be open Monday through Thursday, but they will be closed Friday, March 21.
Union Career Connect is seeking businesses with hiring needs to participate in an employment fair at the UMAC (Union Multipurpose Activity Center), 6836 S. Mingo Road, on Friday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

What an incredible journey for our Darnaby Robotics teams! This weekend, they didn’t just compete—they made history at the VEX IQ State Competition, bringing home two of the highest honors.

Union provides English Learners a high-quality program, designed to assist students in learning English & to meet challenging state academic content & standards.
Early Childhood
Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.
STEM
Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
Community Schools
Union's effective Community Schools model means increased attendance, reduced mobility, & improved academic success because of our partnerships.
